The Secret Millionaires Know About “Catching Your Big Break”
Don’t get me wrong — you can get lucky, but big breaks are a myth if you expect them to change the process of success. They are a myth if you expect them to make success easier.

There is a reason why luck has a way of finding people who work hard. You have to work hard for anything come from good luck!

Luck merely opens doors, it doesn’t walk through them.

10 Reasons Why You Can’t Make a Living Writing
Are you someone who just dreams to become a writer? Are you just going to be reading blog post after blog post in the hopes of somehow magically evolving into a writer overnight?

If not, are you someone who really wants to become a writer? Do you truly want to make a living writing?

The truth: there’s nothing stopping you.

4 Beliefs of Successful (and Happy) People!
In the past I kept reading stories about successful people all around the globe who managed to achieve success even though they started from scratch. While the fields that those people succeeded at were so different, there was a common theme between them all. All of those people thought exactly the same way! If this proves anything it shows that one of the factors that directly affect our level of success in life is our belief systems.

What do you need to start working on your dream?
Most of us spend most of our lives trying to earn enough money to one day buy back the soul we lost along the way.

But those years are unfortunately never for sale again.

Be the Envy of Yourself
I had, in essence, created the exact situation for myself that I was helping my clients escape.  It seemed insane to walk away from a business that was doing really well.  I thought people would shake their heads in disbelief that I was changing directions … again.  It was that little voice whispering, “What’s wrong with me?”

I was trapped by my own success.

I realized that in order to change my business, I had to know what I wanted my business to be.

There’s a concept that if you’re struggling to decide what you most want to do or be, your envy will point the way.

The Unpredictable Freedom and Sweetness of Chaos
I’m going to share a productivity, planning and organizational hack that will change your life. It will yield some unpredictable results, but if you approach it the right way, it could bring some of the most amazing work of your life, along with freedom, joy, exhilaration.

What’s this miraculous hack?

It’s a simple one: let go. Let go of control and allow yourself to be swept away by the powerful currents of life. Let go of planning and embrace not know what will happen. Let go of productivity and be open to new ideas, new opportunities, spontaneous creativity.
~Leo Babauta at Zen Habits

Do or Do Not. There Is No Try
It really is that simple…and that difficult.

Here I sit at the back door of Failure with these two options. The question I asked myself, and that I ask you today is:

What are you going to do now?

When you fail, what will you choose?  You always have the choice. You can choose to blame and make excuses.  You can choose to settle.

You can talk about how hard you tried and how you’ll try again.  Or, you can do–take action.

Ultimately, there is really only one choice.  Even if you choose not to take action, you have chosen the alternative which is to settle.  In both cases you are “doing”.

Doing nothing is really an active choice of antipathy, ambivalence and apathy.  To “do not” is to try to play safe in a game that doesn’t have a safe mode.  Life is not safe. Life is only “on.”  You grow or you die.

Blow Off Work Today. That’s An Order.
Life really wasn’t meant to be so serious.

So demanding.

So unyielding.

So forced.

Yet, we always manage to find ways to make it just that.

So, it’s Friday.

A perfect excuse to blow off work and go do something fun for yourself.

That’s right: Fucking blow off your work for today. I said it. And I mean it.

Your work will be there when you return.

The day, however, won’t be.

It’s definitely something I need desperately to work on.  I’m all about planning my days down to the last minute, but something always manages coming up/going wrong/taking longer than expected, and then I feel like the day’s been “wasted” and I haven’t done enough.  I need to learn that whatever happens, happens, and all I can do is do what I can with it.
